I wish I knew a little more about it... I've tried reaserching... but nothing really popped out at me.

With the V trigger You're able to use the PDI Vaccume Pistons or whatever they're called... From what I've read I think this allows for an easier bolt pull and push back (The Upgraded VSR-10 I used's bolt push was actually significantly harder than the pull)

But I'm not sure.. I'm a VSR-10 noob.

SEALs May 24th, 2008 02:18

I agree! Marksman you win ( and I tought my M24 kicked ass :( )

No where near done, but after a couple hours or so I've gotten a good start on the wrap for my M700.

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...Picture343.jpg
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...Picture342.jpg

I had done the more tradition "ghillie" using nets before on my previous sniper rifles, but the problem with them was always foliage getting in the way of the lens. With not being able to see my target I couldn't see what fucking good it was to be PERFECTLY hidden, other than it does keep ya alive while you can't kill the other. So I opted to go this route of just wrapping very long strips of burlap. I want to get some more browns in there to break it up some more and blend better with my ghillie, but I've run out of brown it seems. The benifit of going this more sleek route is noticeable the moment I lift the rifle to my shoulder because I do not have to fret with the wrap at all to get a clear crisp picture. :D

Colin_S July 6th, 2008 00:25

Oh sorry, it was a Maruzen APS Type 96.

Aquamarine July 6th, 2008 00:28

Ahh!!!!

m700murder July 10th, 2008 21:48

ok, i know ive been a snobby person, but please dont get mad at me for asking this. what is the best position to keep my VSR-10 in. should the bolt be pulled back and locked(dose that relax the spring?) or should it be un cocked?

thx

FOX_111 July 10th, 2008 21:53

The spring should be relaxed, as in not cocked. If you store the rifle cocked, you leave too much pressure on the internal, not to mention that it's a safety hazard.

SCG48 July 10th, 2008 22:38

I always take the spring and guide from the cylender and store it seperated after each time i game my APS2. Even not cocked, the spring is still under pressure.

Its got two new rings which are painted, dont worry. This will prolly be repainted around mid august. I didnt use my clearcoat properly, its getting really scratched up :(. Works like a charm though, i've had people mistake it for a fallen tree branch before. Its doing its job quite well.

I'd say its the Most at the moment actually, since First Factory has cut a lot of its part manufacturing for the APS2 lines. Sure there's PDI, but they make equally as much VSR-10 stuff as they do APS2, though I'd say right now they make a substantial amount of the remaining focus on the Type-96 models. That's not to say supplies still have numbers here with retailers abroad, but I'd say the APS2 is sort of like the oil industry, dragging in money with the end of the pipes in sight. Anyway, the super gorgeous UPS delivery girl is about to come to my office and I think I'm going to go enjoy about the only thing there is to with UPS...

EDIT: So a follow up to the off topicness... UPS girls don't like it when you sign "Your name is? :D now for her to come back again and sign "Dinner at 8". :D

Trust me, it'll still scratch, but the clear coat will make it waterproof and also brighten up the colours more. Wish I had a pic of my CA M24 after I painted it 5 years ago, it was stunning!

Damn, hm. Well, i'm aiming to make it a bit more scratch resistant than my last paintjob... Last time, my paint simply peeled off from the humidity. Not fun

Sort of... but with clones you more often than not run into fitment and tolerance issues.

If you want a top tier preforming sniper rifle... Go name-brand or go home.

Buy TM, or atleast the JG-BAR 10. AGM or WELL has fitment issues.
