M4 gbbr

I'm looking into getting into the gbbr world. I'm looking to start with an m4 because of all the aftermarket support. However I am having trouble deciding which one to get. There was a g&p woc-x series for 200, but now that is out of stock and a king arms m4 for 250. I love the trademarks on the king arms but there haven't been many reviews on them. The woc-x just went out of stock and I'd like to know if its worth waiting for over the king arms. I'm also open to getting a we g39c. Any help will be appreciated. Oh and I don't live in Canada so the price will be the same except shipping will probably be ridiculously high.

mmm.... I would say take either the KA m4, or the WE g36c....

From what I've read, teh Woc-x arent that good, and the KA ones are much better (internally),and they look awesome too imo... :P

and for the we g36, I dunno, ahvent read any detailed reviews about them yet, but I if you want more info about it, there's a thread about it here on Airsoft Canda, or on the GasGunInfo forum....

Cool I think I'm gonna go with the king arms just because I know the woc-x will never come back in stock. Do you know if the king arms has steel internals?

Id spend some extra coin and grab a KJW/TK M4. I am loving mine to death.

I do love my KJW a lot too, great performer out of the box, with a cradle velocity kit and bingo.

Well it isn't wa compatible right? It will wear down eventually and then what? It sounds great and I've heard great things about it, but there's no trades!

haha in the gbbr world, you gotta chose between performance&reliability&best gas mieleage& durability (KJW) and looks (Magna system)....

yes Magna system has more aftermarket support, but....KJW internals wont break anytime soon trust me...lol

Also, KJW has a little less kick, while WA has more kick, but has excessive cooldown, and when I mean excessive.... I REALLY mean it...

Beeing a WA owner, I would say go with KJW if you're a noob...lol (or KSC if you have money)

The kjw is the best option it looks like, but I told myself I would never spend 200, now I'm going all the way up to 290 plus shipping? lol

I spent 1.5k on my G&P gbbr, and I still need mags...lol

Gbbrs are expensive... think twice before buying

Not really, they arent that good, and personally, I would say that they suck... I own one, and it's not the ''omfg no more cooldown solution'' that everybody is talking about.... they are also too expensive...

BTW: they leak badly too....

bshantz November 20th, 2010 14:21

KJW M4's get very expensive as well,

Ive spent $1,100 + on mine, plus over $400 dollars just for magazines.
You want a GBBR get ready to pay for it.

he's not in canada...lol.... the gun wont cost him that much... :S

but yeah,.. gbr are expensive... and need maintenance... and arent failproof....

It's REALLY hard to screw up a KJW...

TheNoobLord had one for like 5 months before anything went wrong with it. (He managed to fuck up a WE M14 within hours!)

Can you at least put the country to live in in your profile? I keep getting it confused and think you're in Canada.

If you're not partial to M4 vs AK, my vote actually goes for the Daytonagun if you can get your hands on one. If you're in the US AirsoftExtreme has them but they're going to cost a pretty penny (but the upside is that it uses regular AEG mags and there's no cool down effect at all period since it uses an external tank).

Otherwise go with the KJW if you want to game it out of the box. They're all money pits though, and if it were me in your place I would honestly go for a classic airsoft right off the bat and just play with it. (Although the only downside is that if anything breaks you'd better be able to machine your own replacement parts since AFAIK replacement parts for classic airsoft are hard to come by).
