Where to find RS accessories?
 

Hi folks looking to add this to my WE gbbr M4;

Company says they do not ship outside the US even though their cart gives that option. Does anyone know where I can find that particular handguard for a comparable price? I don't care if its in the US or Canada as long as the price is ok and I don't get raped by shipping ( ie no UPS). I've checked Wolverine supplies and they seem to only have higher end stuff.

Why not ship it to a shipping center in walhalla or niche and pick it up/bring it over the border yourself?

I dont think you're going to find anything even close to that price in Canada for real steel.

doubt you'd find a reasonably made airsoft version for that price neither!

That rail is a UTG. Questar in Canada sells them, and I think there were even 1 or 2 for sale here in the classifieds.

For anything "military related" you need an export permit or whatever it's called. Some companies just down want to go through the hassle anymore. The same goes for any gun parts over $100....

It was actually Bush who did this during his second term. It really came to a crunch on late 2006. I bought my AR then, and at that time it was only a handful of new ARs for sale in Canada, nobody had any nor could they get any.

ITAR, or International Traffic in Arms Regulation. The retailer needs an ITAR permit to sell ITAR restricted items outside of US. Most smaller shops won't bother simply because a) they need to pay to apply for the license(the license fee is related item value) b) they simply won't have the amount of customer to justify the cost. For larger dealers like Brownell or something, they can apply the license for popular items and they can probably be worth it.

The license is specifically related to items themselves, so places may sell some ITAR item but not others....

FYI, ITAR does not only apply to gun or weapon parts, it can apply to IP, design or even specification....
