FTK for M14
 

Wondering if anyone knows of a full tune up kit for a m14? I have been able to locate FTK's for most other guns but I dont know any companies making them specifically for m14. Being similar in size would a m16 FTK work ?(minus feeding nozzle and tappet plate).

depending on the M14 ... the gears will be different, the cylinder head is different... etc etc etc...

M16 uses v2 whereas m14 uses v7. There may be some parts that work, but most of them (tappet plate, nozzle, etc) will not as you said. you'd be wasting money on those parts and might as well buy individual parts.

In fact I'd just recommend buying individual parts, as some manufactures make some specific parts better than others. more easily tuned to your needs too ie high speed gears etc.

Not to mention higher end parts companies dont even offer ftk's and the ones that do (guarder, modify) I hear arent the greatest for the money.

I'd say it's probably best to piece together a bunch of G&P M14 upgrade parts and "make your own" FTK (not sure about their gears though.... they seem to fail a lot from what I've been reading (essentially the axles fail and shear off, as well, sometimes the teeth shear off the bevel gear (didn't think that was even possible...) and the first tooth on the piston as well)).
