A question to WE AK-74UN owners. My mag that came with the gun, has cracked along the front part where it clips in the the gun. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Is this is an inherit problem with the plastic mag body?

If you don't seat the mag properly before you crank it in .. I can see how it could happen though

Good to know. Theres been a few moments where it wasn't seated properly. I just didn't want to see it being a problem with the plastic body.

I have had the mag crack as well. It cracks where the screw holds the tank and plastic outer shell together at the bottom. This makes it annoying to gas, as the fill nozzle just pushes the tank out of the top of the shell... Maybe fix with some epoxy. It seems the plastic part that cracked was just made of thin, cheap plactic..

I just picked up two more mags. Apparently the AK-74 PMC comes with Metal mags. I'm going to wait until those comes out before I buy more.
