Threaded Outer for KWA M93R

It seems like this would have been asked about before, but the search function turned up nothing.

I wanna buy the KWA M93R. How's it been for anyone who owns it?

What I would want is a threaded outer barrel to stick a suppressor on it and a grip-length, non-extended mag if possible. Would regular M9 barrels and mags work in it?

I've had it for a few weeks until I sold it (got bored, but it might do good for you). Though there is not much to upgrade/accessorize on the gun, I've only seen people glue on a threaded adapter.

Another thing you could upgrade would be the stock, since it kind of slips off your shoulder easily. A good stock would be the "Full metal stock for m93r/glock series"

I'm not sure if it could use the M9 mags, but it seems to look the same.

As an owner for the days I've had it, I say it is a great gun, easy to clean, dissasemble, no leakage in the mags. I got bored easily from the gun because the lack of accessories. If you are going for a multi-purpose sidearm, you could go for it. If it would be your primary, go for the KWA mp7 where it's got lots of rail space.

Or..... wait until september/november to get a KWA Kriss

AFAIK M9 ptp mags DO work, ive seen a video with a guy using em.

I carry those metal stocks. They are a pretty nice upgrade for the 93R. Also, I have a customer who needed mags for his and I do not carry them. So we tried the regulare M9 PTP mags (as stated by coolman703 above) and they do indeed work.

The M93R Limited Edition comes with a M9 mag and it works.

It's quite fun, esp on full auto, its a Spray and Pray though lol.

I have this awesome pistol. All M9 mags work for it. In fact, this pistol can take three different mag capacities: 24, 32 and 48 rounds. So it's very versatile in that sense. I don't know how one would get bored of this gun over other pistols....it has single shot, three round burst and full auto! How can you get bored with that?!?

Anyhow, my only caveat is that finding the right holster for this is more difficult that other pistols.

I LOVE my M93R, but it is very maintenance heavy (lube lube LUBE, and more lube, DON'T USE SPRAY LUBE, use shock silicone), the shoulder stock turns it into an awesome little SMG, the NS2 M9 mags works fine in it (older Gen 1 M9 mags do not), and the Tornado Universal holsters adjust to fit it perfectly. I've yet to find a threaded outer for it, but I don't see that as a problem, a mock suppressor would just make it harder to draw.
Overall, if you want a "neat" little rig that is fairly uncommon on the field, has good accuracy at range and decent speed, then it's worth a look. A lot of people say they've had issues with them, but mine has run fine for 2 years now, and will likely run for many more!

I was going to suggest the G&G threaded outer barrel, but if the PTP mag works with the M93R, then the G&G threaded outer barrel for the KSC/KWA M9 might not work with the M93R. It says that it does not work with the PTP version but I do not know why.

I know it is not threaded, but they do make a metal outer barrel for the M93R, it is G&G model no. G-06-030
