famas jamming problems

Alright so whenever I love the clip in, cock the gun and then shoot my bb gets stuck a few millimeters up the barreling I'm not sure why. Loading another bb and shooting only causes the first one to roll out of the barrel. Shooting 3 or 4 times will shoot the stuck bb out. So I'm not sure why the bb always gets jammed every shot. :(

What bbs are you using?

Too much hop up?
Can u try turn it off completely to test?

Lutarez August 20th, 2014 13:29

I'm using 6mm bb that the gun says to use

Turning the hop up to normal doesn't make any difference

Don't use those things. It will ruin your gun. Use .2s and above. Btw, is your Famas an AEG or a springer? I'm asking since you said: "cock the gun and then shoot". You don't really need to cock and AEG before firing.

It is a spring and I've been using these bb's for a year and this just started happening now

Than you should probably buy yourself new Famas... I haven't heard of anyone fixing those things once they go.

Hectic August 20th, 2014 14:33

prolly a dirty ass barrel (a year old at least) plus been using crappy bb's likely depositing all sorts of crud in the barrel. But yes, now that its dead its prolly just time to buy a new gun, hpefully something beter than a clearsoft famas springer lol
