webbing vendor in canada?

Looking for 1.5 and 1.75" webbing by the yard. I want to make some belts, is there a place to get some milspec stuff in canada? tan and black?

by the yard.

Unless people want to start paying me to make cobra belts, I don't need 100 yard rolls. lol.

I've true Fabricland a few times, and different branches. No joy. Occasionally on eBay I've come across quality offerings on eBay, and buying from an established eBay seller repeatedly will net you good results.

Not Canadian but really a good website. I do a order once a month and never had any problems. Also ship via USPS First Class & Priority depending on your order size.

You can try mountain equipment co-op but I have no idea if it fits your bill in thickness and the stiffness of said belt you are planning to make

If you lived in Vancouver I would have told you to go to Dressew Sewing Supply. They only have a physical location I don't think they have any web presence.

Here's a crazy idea though. Have you tried going to a scuba shop? I have a feeling they they might carry nylon webbing and you might be able to buy it on a spool.

possibly... a friend of mine wants to see if I can semi clone his hsgi cobra belt for every day use, so I'm trying to find some type 13 Mil-W-4088 that I don't need to order a roll to get.

Unless 50 people all order cobra belts. lol.

Can you bring it in at under $30?

Because if you can't then it's not going to fly.

lurkingknight March 13th, 2015 13:59

the cobra buckle itself is 27-30$ US before shipping

so no, if I were to make them, I can't sell them at a loss. Which is why I was only looking for webbing by the yard. Make just the few that I want and that would be it.

I think your friend needs to

A) Get a mock belt from EBairsoft etc for $29.95 shipped. It will hold up his pants.

B) Get a real HSGI belt for $74.99. It will hold up his pants with increased confidence.

C) Get a belt from you if you can make it as nice as the HSGI for a price approaching airsoft. That will hold up his pants with a personal touch .

Have some 17337 that i use for pant belts, I have TAN499 and AOR1 in 1.5" and 2" AOR1. But if its just for pants 1" will do. I have TAN499, Camo Green, AOR1 and I use very cool Dragon buckles.

Let me know

Siggypoo, I can get you a small amount of black scuba webbing at a discount if you want.

WPJ March 14th, 2015 10:26

I just looked up a few things and for 45 I can do Cobra GT buckles with 1.5" multicam belts with/without extra stiffener. 40 if you prepay. I need to do at least 5 belts in multicam.

Let me know who's interested.

siggypoo March 14th, 2015 12:07

Appreciate the offer. I'm going for ACU/UCP shades.

WPJ March 15th, 2015 08:21

I only have 1" in UCP single sided, but if you want some I can flip ya a bit. I also have dragon buckles in Foliage
