A cheap chinese MP 40!
Finally?????!!!!
Looks like the chinese are making something for us!!! A cheap(er) MP40!!! I have no idea about the system they use for the AEG, but it says 300 FPS outa the box.... Will see... http://www.airsoft-news.eu/news.php http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...s/WW2/mp40.jpg |
According to Arnies, it's a modified v3. SRC is also suppose to come out with one soon.

Yep!
I am crossing my fingers.... |
I hope it works better than my TOP MP-40. Right now it's a paperweight! I'd be careful of this china air stuff. I've read reviews about the sub standard quality. Clear plastic gear boxes, twisted together wiring, etc, etc. It would be nice if they get their s**t together on this one but for now i have my reservations.

What I find sad are websites that advertise things, pretend to be professional, and cannot spell or use correct grammar.
It does not inspire confidence. |

It still does not inspire confidence. When you make a website, things like that count.
You either look professional, or you dont. This is like saying spelling mistakes in your resume does not matter. Just watch what an HR representative does with it upon reception. |
Its a different culture over there... different standards of whats acceptable and what isn't
|
Either way just have to wait and see. I for one am excited to see companies making some more WWII weapons. I have no experience with the TOP MP40 but I hear bad things about it too. At least this one has a metal V3 gearbox or so it says. As far as grammar, if english isn't your primary language it's difficult to use properly. I even seen many spelling and grammar mistakes here on ASC.

I know, but forums are not the same as a website. One is personal, the other is a business. One is acceptable, the other matters for your wallet.
I'd love an MP40 that works, so I'll also wait and see. |

I rather have them spending more money on hiring expert engineers to design and QA than spending extra money in hiring an English major. :D |
well
dependant upon feedback I am very interested in buying me one...
been a fan of MP40s for a long time now... |
Knowing now that it has a metal V3 gearbox in it makes me a little more confident. Its got to be alot better than the bellows system in the TOP MP40. Can't wait for the reviews!

It's hard to tell from the pics I saw, unfortunately. But the takedown procedure looks simple.
The originals were built from stamped metal (mostly) so it's not hard to build a repro either. If the price is good, I may not mind a wall-hanger for when I give courses. |
