I am curious whats worse JG ( Jing Gong ) or CYMA lol?

TrueTGN December 5th, 2007 17:21

.... ..... ..... ..... JG

GOOGLE! :D

I love redundant questions...

Oh wait you said whats worse............ CYMA for sure. JG is decent, but by no means the best. Refer to mcguyver's post

JG > Dboys/BOYI > CYMA

Cyma only makes good AKs and AEP.

Lesser of 2 evils or compared to other brands? I don't think too highly of either of them, and barely find Marui passible, so.......

then what DO you find passable? I was always told to stick with Marui by the vets at the field i play at.

Crossman is the best. Even the guys with those SystemA PTWs switch over once they try out a Crossman.

What's worse is not doing any research on your own.

I gravitated away from Marui years ago, when companies like ICS and Classic Army brought metal bodies for only a few dollars more. I've moved up a bit since then.

Marui is fine for a beginner, below that, well.....

You don't buy a LADA when you want to race cars, unless your a sucker for an empty wallet.

I disagree. Their AKs seem to be praised to be well worth the money overseas/stateside. To us, it is not AS worth buying them VS more expensive brands.

As always I'm bringing up my Cyma AK gearbox that I have been running inside my TM AK, put a whole bunch of rounds through it (5,000? 10,000?) stock, dumping mag after mag without a problem. I have some cheap Element brand upgrades in the mail to give it a bit more punch too.

On a similar note, Cyma is the first to release a replica AEG of my favorite firearm (not counting Inokatsu prebuilt kits), the AKM!

And is asking opinions of people who know more than the person inquiring not a form of research? If you feel like you don't wanna be bothered answering someones question, why bother telling him to look it up when in actuality he is?

I ran my CM 020 mechbox (the one that comes with the CYMA AK47) for 3 games hard so thats around 10000 rounds or so with a lot of dry firing. I took the bastard apart I noticed minimal wear on all the parts except the spring guide was cracking...but a cracking spring guide was bound to happen.

Pros:
Upgraded already
High ROF
Cheap starter gun
Mechbox grease tastes delicious

Cons:
Plastic bushings
Cheap cylinder head, air nozzle, and spring guide
Poor air seal on lemon guns
Non TM compatiable Hop up
Mechbox grease is addictive
