been researching for first gun, help please?

So i have decided to sell my paintball gun, and buy a decent airsoft rifle. The two that i have a particular interest in are 1. JG m4 s-system, 2008 model, and 2. JG 416 with crane stock. I chose these because the have great reviews and decent range and accuracy. I was just wondering where i should order it from, since this is my first time ever ordering an AEG any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

IMO the 416 is awesome. I have one and love it. Though a tightbore in it is must. Also, the best way to get a gun in canada is to get age verified and buy from the classifieds. You'll be looking at $350-$400 in there for either of those too.

Get age verified and get a gun from the classifieds here.

the prices on these guns that ive found are around 170 CAD, i wasnt planning on getting my gun form the classifieds here, rather ordering it from a website, im just looking for advice on which site to get it from. Also its a bit of a hassle to do the age verification thing, since you can order from a site as long as you're 18, and i can do that seeing as i am 19.

Considering the only sites in Canada in which you can order a 416 from you have to be age verified, you might want to reconsider ;)

If you READ the link I gave you you will realize importing and ordering airsoft guns aint that easy. Which is why the prices are much higher in Canada

THANKS FOR FILLING OUT YOUR PROFILE BORBO!! :)

you've been provided with the info link to the FAQ's and warned you will possibly lose your money should you order outside of Canada.

Please read the FAQ's

You can't order guns from outside of Canada. They will get seized by customs. Forget any prices you see on American or international sites. Prices in Canada are double to triple the prices you see elsewhere.

Getting age-verified, hassle or not, is the only way you'll ever get a real airsoft gun in Canada. Otherwise, you're stuck with the crap they sell at Canadian Tire and Walmart.

you have to be 18 to have a credit card, what other freaking verification is needed, stupid laws. btw im pretty sure if u pay the extra bit of money for rush air delivery, some of retailers garuntee its not gunna get siezed.

rexdlu July 8th, 2008 18:39

Try it. You never know.

meeting with a verifier in person and proving your 18

skalnok July 8th, 2008 18:45

anything without a clear body will get seized if it is searched by customs

That is simply incorrect. No foreign retailer will guaruntee delivery. The product you are discussing is illegal to import without a license. Ordering one from overseas and hoping for the best would be most unwise.
