Thanks. I came up with it after buying my first tightbore, even though it was stainless steel I wanted to reduce the chances of scratching, and since I had access to heat shrink.............. paste few years I've been using a C7 cleaning kit set up for airsoft in it's little pouch, even those steel rods I heatshrunk (the sections are shorter, so works great to carry in my gear while playing).
