Safe-semi-semi might mean that the microswitch on the selector plate side of the Raptor isn't properly clicking down when you slide the plate into the full auto position.. Other than that it's hard to say, perhaps you could have programmed it wrong? Another resource for this would be the Airsoft Mechanics AWS support subform here:

Your mileage may vary, some people have cut it short, others have left it stock. I have installed it in two AEGs (DBoys PDW and a custom G&P-based project rifle) and had quite different experiences. It says to let it break in for a while in the instructions, but I found it to sit relatively straight and secure in my G&P gearbox right after I installed it, so I went ahead with completing the installation and testing it. If you're worried about this, leave your rifle in full auto when you store it so that the selector spring isn't super pent up (also: bent up

) but just ever so slightly lightly engaged -- full auto is the position in which this is easiest.
I just finished installing the Raptor over the Holidays and I'm super impressed with it already even before having gamed it.. Hope you figure out your issue.
