Unless you use a daytona kit for say, a M249 or an AK.

What you asked for in the first post was EBB (Electric Blowback)

EBB is a small or a set of small parts linking your gearbox's piston to the charging handle/bolt cover. It can be done on Thompsons fairly easily.

But the M14's charging handle is too heavy and you can't just pull the "bolt" as it needs a up and back motion as opposed as the just back motion of the Thompson.

It's not worth it anyway, more parts to break.
