G&G CM16 stopped firing and now is unresponsive
I was playing for about 3 hours this morning and the gun was firing flawlessly. In the final game the gun made an odd grinding sound and I ejected the mag to make sure I didn't have a misfeed. I replaced the mag and when I pulled the trigger again nothing. No noise, no movement, nothing.
When I got home I opened up the gearbox and found that I had chewed my piston. I replaced it and I tried to see if I had fried some of the electronics by pulling the trigger with the motor connected but outside of the gun. The motor worked fine. I put the gearbox back in an re installed the pistol grip. Tried it again to make sure and nada. Once again, no noise, no movement nothing.
Battery is charged and motor is correctly installed with polarity correct. The gun went from operating fine to unresponsive. The rifle is at least 2 years old in case that makes any difference with the components of its construction.
