I've seen a lot of SVD's and own one myself. If it were up to me go semi-auto. My friend has the "bolt" version and it really kills his vibe. Furthermore, where I play, no matter the mechanics the SVD has the DMR FPS imposed on it so 400fps instead of 450fps for bolt action snipers. If you have the money go real sword. If you have a tight budget i find the king arms AEG to be the best compromise. I myself though have a WE- Tech Ace VD GBBR the stealth is lost but the realism makes up for it. And its a solid gun. Shoots about 500fps though so it needs a downgrade.
