No Duff is the standard still, and should be. I've been in the U.S. for training and have never heard "lift fire". Unless this is an airsoft specific term, the call to stop firing for any reason, be it the attack is done, the enemy is surrendering, or there's a reason on a range to halt all fire, has always been "CEASE FIRE! CEASE FIRE! CEASE FIRE!"
Though, even in the CF, a situation requiring a halt of everything due to an injury or dangerous situation has been called a "No duff" scenario many times during briefings prior to training.
