Heavier BB's w PDI 170?

Someone just put out a thread similar to this but for KJW M700 and I didn't want to steal their thead so here's mine.

Setup is...
G3SG1 with PDI 170 spring, PSG1 6.03 mm (or maybe .04?) barrel, and some other stuff that doesn't really affect fps.

Never had it chronied, but with the trusty pop can, I'm guessing somewhere close to 420 ish with .20g (can just, just completely puncture the bottom centre). Currently I can hit a crouched man size target 50% of the time at 160 feet.

I've been using .25's for gaming, but am wondering, is it practical to use a heavier weight? Maybe crank my hop a bit more, and hopefully I'll get better shots off. I mean, heavier bb means more momentum means will carry on further (though muzzel velocity is reduced I know). I've done some basic physics to work out (hopefully) the predicted fps with heavier weights and run some stuff out on one of those airsoft trajectory calculators and it seems to be better to go with the heavier bb, even if the range is theoretically the same, a heavier bb should give me better accuracy. I'm just worried that my bb will be brusing my hop too much and that'll throw things off.

Any suggestions or info? Thanks

Alex
