Yep it was a shotgun, and ive seen a pic of a marine wearing the Revision eyewear with a large piece of metal from a blast implanted in the lense, it would have taken out his eye. So yeah i much rather wear my issued ballistic eyewear than paintball goggles, knowing that if a high FPS BA or even a full auto burst out of an AEG the eyewear will withstand no questions asked.
I will not ever go back to the full mask pb goggles ever again as i used to have the fogging up problem all the time in my paintball days.
