The government is trying many methods to dispose of the radioactive gun that seems to be emitting some sort of distress becon out into the dark reaches of the universe, the exact frequency is still being determined, but a wave of intergalactic asteroids have been spotted with the hubble telescope heading directly for the area where the gun lies. Perhaps an act of God, or some alien intelligence that knows far better than us that this gun must never be used...ever. For using the Firepower brand of airsoft guns will result in chaos you can't even comprehend.

Update: If you are reading this, get as far away from ground zero as possible! The gun has emitted an energy blast at the oncoming asteroids, which are now going off course and hitting Mercury. The Canadian military has been called in to try and dispose of the gun with their elite bomb disposal units. In the case that they don't succeed, I urge you to get as far away from here as possible. I will stay and try to ride this one out.

Update: The Elite Bomb Disposal units have been vaporized, the Canadian government has issued a state of emergency warning. Troops from every nation are being mobilized to destroy the firepower gun. With any luck we'll still live this one out.
