This is my MultiCam Ghillie that I have just started...
I have been taking photos throughout the process and am slowly getting results. I didn't take any shortcuts and am taking my time to get it right.
I am building a 2 piece. I haven't decided on what I am going to use for a head piece ( Boonie or Hoodie ).
I am finally beginning to see results on my top piece, but still have a long ways to go. I chose MultiCam because it seems to work all season long ( better in the spring and fall ). I am adding a little more green to the mix and I think its coming out OK.
As for the bottoms, I ran out of Shoe Goo and only got the knee pads and wear resistors on...
The first pic shows the opening for padding to be installed for the knees. I chose a very strong and water proof vinyl type material for the knees wear pads. I will touch them up with some paint later on, to help blend them into the BDU and get rid of the shine from the Show Goo.
Note: I rounded the pads and went along the outside of the pad with Show Goo, to help prevent them getting snagged on debris and ripping the off or getting me hung up. I also Shoe Goo'd the backs directly to the BDU..
I have a lot more to do, but thought some people might be interested.. I will post as I go...
