Hey folks.
I've contacted some of you from time to time in regards to getting set up for some ghillie kit.
The time has come.
I've just received my USR11 in the mail... a donor gun from my brother - it needs a mag (ordered through airsoftparts.ca), an outer barrel (if anyone can tell me how to REMOVE the outer barrel on this thing it'd make my life a LOT easier), and a pair of stock screws... I have to get one out of there, it's stripped to hell... the other is lost - This gun was a project that never came into fruition for him, and now it's my burden.
So, first things first.
I'm hitting the Home Depot this weekend for burlap, screws and hopefully, a metal pipe to make a barrel out of, with some kind of washer on the end. I've got a bunch of RIT dye as well. Tan, Dark Green, Brown and whitener. I'm in Northern Ontario, and will be doing a big walk through with a camera of the place I play in, to try to accurately match the colours of the ground.
Are there any out-of-the-box things I should do to this? Yes, I've already taken the 'Real Shock' metal peices off. So far, the BB only goes through one side of a coke can. I remember something about teflon-ing a part to increase FPS. I'm not looking for super-stupid FPS... just something to give me a little reach.
