I have super glued the piece that snapped off the tappet plate back. I used some tiolet paper for some reinforcement. I can bend it very easy and its not cracking or anything. This is just a temporary fix. Will this hold up?

after thought: or I'd have cut and spliced it together with and H shaped plug of some sort then JB Weld to seal it in. but I have plenty of spares here. |

Thats a good idea too.... It seams to be really strong because i reinforced it with toilet paper. I can bend it on the seem were it broke and its not weak. Im going to reassemble and see if my plan works. If not il just buy another tappet plate.

Oh and also, did you shim it well? A poorly shimmed gear set will add a lot of resistance and make it more difficult for the battery to pull the spring + gears.
