madbull v2. Propane adaptor not working.
Greetings ASC,
I recently bought a madbull version 2 propane adaptor for my gbb.How ever when I try and fill my mags with it the thing sprays gas every where until I unscrew it, any ideas? I am thinking it is defective, any help would be great! |

Take it apart with some C-clip pliers, and Oil the shit out of it.
When it gets cold, The rubber seal gets a bit too stiff, and it doesn't slide along the nozzle very well. I tried to 'drill' out the hole a bit bigger, but it didn't work. I just lubed it up, and about every 10-15 fills, I take it apart and lube it all up again, and stretch the rubber around..

Yep.. You had to pull the nozzle back out when filling up..
Just take that rubber out, and work it in a bit.. Then oil everything back up with some silicone lube. Should be fine. Also, Try to keep it out of the cold.. It doesn't like the cold.

Had the same problem with mine, I thought I had a defective bottle.
Did what you said, will give feedback after my game next weekend. But it already seemed to work better. |

Thanks for the tips guys, I finally managed to fix mine. Actually, I got two, I ordered from airsoftparts.ca, couldn't get the first one to work, so they sent me another one for free (great service! Didn't even charge me for shipping!), this one didn't work either. I think it might have been the cold during transit or something, the seal was waaaaaaay too thight. Working it with my hands didn't work, stretching it with pincers didn't work either... I stretched it *a lot* on a pair of round pincers and left it that way for 4 days. Now the adapter works, albeit, leaking a tiny bit. I suppose that as the seal sets up and it shrinks back closer to its original shape the leaking will stop. I'm gonna try the same thing on the other adapter and see if can fix it too...
One thing is certain, I will never ever recommend this adapter to anyone. It's AI plastic adapter all the way from now on. |

if it's leaking a bit, put in in a silly oil bath for about 5 minutes and it will swell up a little

Ok, thanks, I will try that if it still leaks in a few days.
