Hey there, as soon as I got my WE AK PMC GBB first thing I made was to drop in the NPAS, and then I found out that it doesnt work in this platform. I was getting 200FPS with the valve fully closed. So I decided to try a few pistola valve springs I had arround to try to put my gun around 380 and 400FPS. The problem was that the consistency was awful with these springs. I was getting 1j cronos and then it jumped to 1.5j a few shots, then back to 1.2j, then back the 1j, then back the 1.5j, etc.. Other pistol springs behaved the same way. I tried a stronger valve spring and I got more consistent results, but very high FPS too, around 2.4J but more consistent as I said.
Then a friend found this:

So now I know that a mod was required for the NPAS to work. Since I didnt want to destroy my nozzle without being certain taht this would work, I did the mod but just cutting the tabs to half their lenght, so I stil had opening behind them and no further modification was needed. This actually worked, the NPAS now gives me 2.2j completely closed, kind of.. of course I droped in the NPAS with the strong spring which was the most consistent one, but now it was not consistent anymore! I am getting very wierd cronos like I have 420FPS and then a 200FPS shot in the middle, and I still have a variation of 50 FPS in the shoots that sit around the same "area" of FPS.
Also if I open the NPAS just a little bit I get 60FPS cronos.. o.O!
I was think that may be the mod MUST be done cutting the tabs completely and opening new windows, or may be since I cut the tabs I should open the windows more. I dont know really what to do, I didnt have more time yesterday, today I'm trying other valve springs with the NPAS, but I dont want to keep destroying my nozzle to have the NPAS working in such inconsistent way.
Last thing I can add, the NPAS "head" or top doesnt sit very nice on the tab, if I close the nozzle and move the NPAS from the gas entrance slot everytime I release it, when it goes back to sit on the tabs, it always lays differently, to a side or another, leaning in a slight angle instead of being completely straight. I don't know how to explain it, may be I'll post pics later.
Any help or advice you have is welcome, thank you!
