Forward Armory Modstock for M4 - warning
Just to let you guys know, I recently purchased a Forward Armory Modstock - VLTOR clone, and discovered that the plastic was so cheap it was pre-cracked for me in all four tabs that tie down the two mod tubes. For the price of these after market additions one would expect MUCH more than less than toy grade plastic. Be warned.
That said, I've now purchased the Star VLTOR 'clubfoot' style modstock. I will update this if I find it to be of similar (or god forbid) lesser quality. I wonder about just cutting into a real VLTOR instead for battery storage... anyone considered this? |

Yes i also found the Forward Armory stock to be made of cheap plastick especially around the screw areas it cracks like THAT. The STAR crane stocks should be better or the G&P ones. The best ones for airsoft would be the APEX one but its rare.

if you go vltor style mod stock you should find another battery storage solution.
i never liked the star vltor style stock i got, it didnt fit a stock TM tube! for its price you'd think it would fit. i think guarder has the best IMO VLTOR stocks. though there is no battery storage/
