So what actually puls the bolt back? Cutting down the bolt isn't a big of an impact as it is the pressure of the springs. Right now I hear your motor whining for sweet mother Theresa to put it out of it's misery.

If you used a shorter and weaker spring I'm sure you could accomplish better EBB. This is very similar to APS' EBB design. If you were able to set up a series of gears that are pulled by a separate electric motor or something other than the piston going back, that would be a real game changer.

A Kwa rm4 erg would be really neat if the fake bolt carrier reciprocated as it would lock back on the last shot fired, giving you a visual indicator that your gun is dry. I would be very interested to see you do one for an M4.

Homemade EBB

Answers on questions:
1) EBB is done by adapter which creates mechanical connection between piston
And bolt
2) Bolt is original, but cut almost in half to make it less heavy
3) Bolt spring original as well, but there is another short spring for cover button
( that one AK style)
