Removing a 'Tac Grip' on M4
First off I want to start by saying I think this is in teh right section, if not could the mods please move it to the correct section. One to the question.
I have a TM M4 that has a modified grip on it, says 'Tac Grip'. Thing is though, I want to change it back to the stock grip and I haven't got a clue how to remove it. I've removed the bottom of the grip and I can't figure it out from there. I don't want to break the gun or motor so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. The grip that's on it looks liek it's a Zenith Tac Grip. I searched the forums and couldn't find anything that was very useful to me, If someone could help me out that'd be great. Thanks in advance. |

disconnect the motor. Don't lose the little motor plate. let motor slide out and remove 2 screws inside grip.

it is kinda hard to mess up while replacing a grip.
there should be 2 screws at the base of the grip which can easily be removed. this will allow you to remove the bottom plate. then you can disconnect the motor and remove it safely all the time watching the wires. if i remember there might be one or two more screws that hold the grip in place to the lower receiver. then pull out the grip and exchange it with the stock one. repeat these steps in reverse to install the grip. i hope this helps. this is from memory, but it truly isnt difficult. good luck. |

Thanks for the help guys. Got the grip changed, and I managed to get the screw out, had to cut part of the plastic off on the top of the motor cover, but it works fine.
