Kirenex fixer upper
ok so heres the used kirenex my brother bought online for 70 dollars u.s.
ive been working on it for him. when it came one of the rear tabs on the upper receiver was broken so it didnt hold tightly together and he was buying a jg hi-cap mag for it and my jg hi caps were loose on it so i took the time to change from its receiver to the spare hk 416 receiver off my 416. now it holds together better and takes the hi-cap just fine, plus the color of the lettering of the 416 body maches the tan furniture. its own hop up was also damaged and missing the adjustment knob and was really crappy looking. i also replaced it with the spare hop chamber and rubber from my 416. and switching its grip for the spr grip off of my jg dragon was a win win situation as im left handed and he is right handed. also added some metal bushings to the gearbox and had to completely grease the gearbox 100% there wasnt a single drop of anything to be found in the entire thing. in the near future im putting a g&p piston head and the krakens stock spring in it as its own spring seems to be very worn out and there was a loose part in the piston that looked like a part of a spring but all compressed together. dunno what it was for. i also added a custom made by me foam cheekrest pad to the stock for comfort. i silvered the bolt with some acetone and added a dual offset rail by g&p and put a junko but accurate laser sight i rigged up on it just for looks. and then theres the d-boys black and od rail covers covering the rails of the gun. the POS aftermath stock smaller than a mini battery it came with ran the gun just fine but sounded really horrible so now its running wonderfully on an 8.4 firefox mini. stripped and re-painted the metal flash hider too and set some white paint in some engraved markings on the gun only thing still wrong with it is that sometimes when you let go of the trigger it sounds like the spring and piston might be pushing on the gears and making the motor turn making a whirr-ur-r noise. dunno why that is. im thinking maybe the previous owners hosed the gun a lot and now the motor is worn out or maybe the motor was total crap to begin with or maybe its the anti-reversal latch though i didnt notice anything about it when i had it apart

i really probly wouldnt reccomend the kirenex to anyone. specially not down here in the states when you can get a d-boys s-system that the kirenex is supposedly re-branded from but probly has more metal parts and works better and is higher quality and maybe even cheaper than the 200 dollar price tag for a brand new kirenex from aftermath
but it was a cheap fixer upper so this case is different and is the only aeg he owns that i didnt build for him and he purchased with his own money the kirenex is a pretty solid and stable bodied gun. but its almost all plastic my brother is pretty satisfied with what ive been doing with it. were just waiting on some parts to get here so far and then itll probly be a lot nicer
