No, there's still the rules about being respectful to your fellow board members. The n00b section is merely a safe haven where no question is too stupid and "do a search" is not the standard answer.

If I did it would be a site supporter section only, But I don't believe that's the direction we want to go here. there are forums dedicated to flaming, but we're more of a community and those seem to work better when you're not at someones throat. Kind of like how you'd like your neighbours to behave.

I just wanted to give a thumbs up to the mod who cleaned all the Troll dung posts out of the newb tank since last night

lol I think people are confusing the newb tank (a place where newbs can be new but still have a place to communicate with experienced airsoft players) with fish in a barrel.

I cant speak for the rest of Canada but here locally we often heard from new players that they went on ASC and were flamed by arseholes. It got so bad that ASC fast became the butt of all jokes when speaking of players who were showing unsportsman like behaviour or acting like an ass.

It would be nice if ASC could go back to leading the airsoft community and promoting the sport rather than being a showcase for the worst crabby bastards of the sport running off new players
