With the business end toward the enemy, preferably.

I find both thumbs forward (magpul) grip works pretty well. Just point your grip hand thumb where you want to shoot. Very intuitive and more accurate than holding very grip like a broomstick.

im not a magpul fanboy, it just works

Hold it up high and watch as your bbs hit the target

I usually go with a beer can grip, sometimes I switch it up with my thumb pointing forward or thumb curled under the muzzle...hehehehhe

No grip is a no no; you can scour the net and see SEALs and CAG (not JTF2 since there are no real pictures of them) rocking the broomhandle grip.

The rule is try all of variations and see what works best for you.

Id agree with that. I hold about half way up the hand guard, and keep my thumb above and parallel to the barrel.

Im not a fan of mag-well gripping. It might be that my first rifle was an m16 so its not practical on that but i just don't find it to be as accurate for me.

One thing that annoys me though is when people have a vertical grip and then mag-well grip the gun

The only way you use the verticle grip is when you have the pressure pad for lights and lasers..

Sorry. I can't offer you that night club atmosphere when I use my vert grip...

After busting the end of my ulna in my left wrist last fall I now use a vertical grip. Didn't use to but I start to get pain in there after holding a rifle in the typical fashion.

Similar to what you see in Mr.Hitman's avatar.

I like to sling it nice and low around the waist area, hold my rifle between my legs shouting out loud "say hello to my little friend" while I shoot

I personally prefer option A (holding the corner were the front of the mag and handguard meet) but that may be cause I'm of a smaller stature.

Depends on my shooting conditions. With the armalite variants and if I'm running in a CQB game, I'll hold it by the mag well, maybe with my index supporting somewhat on the handguard. I find it's easier for me to snap to targets more rapidly. Where as if I'm doing an outdoor game I'll just use the handguard. I really need to get my hands on a vert grip though x.x
As for my MP5 though, I'll always use the foregrip. Haha.
