use .28 g. they work great, but depending on the actual exact fps of the gun, mabey 30g, or mabey 36g without the grahpite, like paradise said

Hmm, neat. Alright so I'm going to dump out the 6.05 for something tighter. Some have told me that the 6.01 can jam due to the extreme tight diameter.

Well I've also heard that the cold will shrink that inner barrel too, causing more jams because of shrinkage. If that's untrue someone can correct me.

I'd say a 6.02 should be as low as you go. Even that's kinda pushing it.

If you're going to be at the game on the 10th, I'll be there as well with my tool bag. I've got a couple of theories on what it could be.
You didn't mention: G-Spec, Pro Sniper or Real Shock? The G-Spec inner barrel is pretty close to 6.05mm so if that's what you're using that may be a contributing factor.

I installed a nineball hop bucking in my vsr clone and had the same problem - hooking to the right.

It was the hop arm pressing down on the rubber unevenly. I switched the stock rubber back and the problem went away. If you absolutely have to use the nineball, I have seen various threads that recommend shaving down the hop arm.

Kokanee, so you simply leveled out the hop arm and that solved your problem?
I just finished my order from ehobby of a nineball rubber and Prothemus 590mm. 6.03. I'll inspect it further once my new parts are in.
Tsuru, I'm afraid I won't be at the game this coming weekend. But I do hope to join you guys for a game shortly. Sorry for not specifying, I have the pro version of the VSR.

Alright, I just finished installing a Hard type Firefly hopup rubber, and 590mm. Prothemeus 6.03 and .30 BB bastards.
At 150' I can hit a ice cream pail pretty regularly. I noticed that the rubber itself has 2 'nubs' very similar to the hopup arm.
Now it definately has its accurate shots but it still seems to slice to the right from time to time.
Just curious if there is any other things to check to solve this problem.
