Conker secured a huge batch of 3rd Recon pics and yeah RRV, CIRAS and MBSS are still used.

Also, most Force Recon Platoon of MEU still use all of the FSBE kit
Any pics proving that the Recon Marines still use RRV, CIRAS and MBSS from Fsbe 2 kit, buddy please ? That would be awesome, cuz' I'm sad to notice that on all the recent Recon pics I've seen, they're using exclusively SPCs.

Another thing, what you mean by "most Force Recon of MEU still use all of the FSBE kit" ? They all do use all of the FSBE II kit. Maybe you've seen something else ? I'd be interested to see what, then.

Great pictures too, Vince.
Conker, you already know what I think 'bout your loadout buddy

Sorry for my english guys, I'm doing my best.

PS. Gonna see the Ice Hockey match France vs Canada on the 24th of April, at Paris Bercy Don't be too rude with us

Received my Pantac MBSS earlier today... First piece of replica kit since I first began in airsoft.

At least all pouches on it are all FSBE. Will have to bring it to the sandblasting at work to give it a nice used look

I'd put a standard trigger guard and swap the grip for a TD (or grippod, but I know you hate 'em) but otherwise looking good!

I wonder what's missing. Look at the cloned tree.
Are you shure this pic is a fake?
I found it at WilcoxInd http://www.wilcoxind.com/

I was pretty sure that pic was the HQ Version/from the same setting as the one pic from this article: http://www.tactical-life.com/online/...battle-rattle/

If you look at the tree, there's some weird looking bluryness. Also check the right glove, underneath the ris and on the PEQ, it's all Blury. Like if someone was standing next to this guy and they just 'shopped him out of it.

but could be also just an effect with the camera lense and dust, I don't know. ^^

EDIT : On the othre picture, not the one you posted.

Nothing overly spectacular, just a small update based on the few corpsmen pics I've stumbled on recently.

This thread needed a bump anyways .

Notes: This will mostly be worn with an LBT1562A medical pack. When I'll have the pack, the tourniquet shown here on the CIRAS pad would be on the pack's strap. Back isn't shown as it's empty (other than FSBEII hydration pouch and TCI MAST) for comfortable pack wear. Sides are kept slick.

All nylon (except LBT2626A) is FSBEII. CIRAS is early gen (green tag, year unknown), pouches are late 2007/early 2008

EI CIRAS
EI Frags (x2)
AI MBITR
EI M4 (x2)
AI Triple shingle
EI .45 (x3)
AI Admin w/light
Surefire G2
Benchmade Nivramus
LBT 2626A + Foretrex 201
EMT shears
C-A-T (x2)
TEA Universal (fake)
IR/Blue/Green/Red chemlights

(not visible)
EI Hydration pack
TCI MAST

Got some inspiration from these two pics, but obviously tailored to my own preferences:

And now for an odd question...

... Would a Marine wearing standard MCCUU (Woodland in this case) under a plate carrier (such as, saaay... a CIRAS!) be wearing the collar up (to protect the neck from chaffing against the straps, etc) or collar down (for comfort/breathability, etc). Would it just be a matter of personal preference? Google Images wasn't my friend today...
Also, is the wearing of shemaghs around the neck common? I have one, as well as a stretchy-knit neck gaiter, bandana, do-rag, multi-purpose kinda thing in Coyote Brown.

Just wonderin'. I'm guessing that some of you with vast photo archives (Conker?) would have some idea of what's common. Thanks for any response.
