Another option if you still want a launcher is to slap on a PEQ-2 launcher

Works wonderfully, isn't OVERLY heavy and is hella-loud.

Now add on a metal cocking tube, metal upper and lower, and your looking at 16 Pounds...

You get a full metal SG-1, and you'll soon learn to love a Sling and the Stock Bi Pod.

I used soft white thick (about 3mm) double sided tape. Cut of a piece about 1-2mm in width and stuff in the space between outer and inner barrel with a really sharp object.

That shouldn't be too difficult to do.

Get the MSG-90 front-end kit from LayLax, butcher a PSG-1 for the grip (or cut-down the sniper-grip for the G36 <-- also from LayLax), grab a H&K Claw-Mount (carefull though, mine would NEVER stay on), and then you're looking at having to make your own custom stock as in that picture.

All in all, not ENTIRELY too much trouble, but still requiring a little bit of work to slap it all together.

i dunno where you get the idea there are no upgrades for the FAMAS? there are tons... just check out dentrinity. 6.04 inner barrel, one piece cylinder-head sets, systema gear sets (yes standard gears DO fit a famas just fine). Hell, i even fitted a FAMAS hop unit to my pre-hop model. anything is possible

oh and yeah i have an SG/1 and it's definitely no sniper gun. would be better off as a support weapon with it's hi-cap mags (second only to the AK or the new G&G UMG). Unlike the real steal, the SG/1 is just an A3 with a cheakpiece and crappy bipod (real steal has hand selected hi-accuracy barrels and the likes).
