You can cut down the sharpness of the stipple by sanding or filing the surface after you're done. It will at least make it more skin friendly.

It looks meaner than it is, and it's on a MP7 so a bit more bite on that tiny thing is a plus.

IMO this thread needs an update....
here's my first stippling job on my hi-capa! and I needed practice before doing that, so here's my practice gear.... :P The grip feels grippy now... :P and its really easy to do... PS: Wear a mask when stippling a grip, the melting ABS plastic creates fumes, and thats not good for your brain cells.... |

I'll second that. Couple hours of stippling Magpul XTM panels isn't fun with only a t-shirt wrapped around your face. I would of used the gas mask I had issued to me if it would even help, but whoops they never issued me a filter!

Just finished doing some stippling to my Glock 19. I'm quite impressed with it actually. But I do wish the KSC had markings on the grip so it wasn't so plain looking.

Oh gawd this is so sweet, a new project for me! Love to find me a nice set of rail covers now to make all mean and gnarled for my sig552! Should be able to find some more uses for this... Shotty and some tough stippling sounds fun to me!

I'll take some pics tonight. I practiced on some rail covers that I found in my house. I wasn't a fan of them before, but now I want to find more of them so I can do some more of it.

Ok. Here's some pics. I did a forward thumb grip on both sides, and stippled both sides of the frame but I left the finger grips and knurling on the front and the back.
I've also included the pictures of the rails that I practiced on. (Does anyone know what they are? I want to find more....) Here's what I practiced on. It takes some getting used to, but it's got a great feeling when it's done.

No. It's all black/tan respectively but I guess the flash messed it up.
