So, a GBBR M14.

Will it ever happen? Your thoughts?

I love the idea of an M14 GBBR, I'm not crazy about WE producing them.

I don't know why people harp on WE and claim their products are bad. Just like anything you're bound to find lemons but the fact that the company takes an active role in correcting issues brought to them by the end user is a welcome reassurance. I've got a WE Scar, its fantastic, I'm getting a WE M4. As soon as this hits the market I'll be getting 2 at the very least.

I've owned a WETTI M4 and a SCAR, both were exceptional quality. No problems with either. Zero tolerance issues, RA TECH parts went right in. 1st Gen. WETTI M4 had some iffy issues, same with 2nd but by the 3rd they're golden. I wouldn't worry about later generations of their new line up.

G&P/ WA both have their merits, but that's not to say there's anything wrong with WE, just a different system.

How about some classics, eg:G43, a new Garand, Lee Enfield, Mosin Nagant, BAR, a Thompson gbb would be sick.

No, I'm not into WW2 . . .

A lot of WE stuff is wonky. Their pistols are all sorts of fail.

Their gas rifles shoot well so far and are very consistent unit to unit. Quality levels are good overall.

The M14 looks good...but sluggish. The freaking huge chunks of metal are just a lot of mass to move with green gas.

I wouldn't jump on the "WE is great" bandwagon...but I'm more than willing to give credit where credit is due. I'm liking their gas rifles.

I'd like to get a PDW with some other barrel...

Who cares? It's a great gun.

More manufacturers = more likely one will get it right.
