FPS problem.

Just bought a used gun, Everything in it is systema or modify systema parts. Gun is wired for deans and im using a magpul pmag hicap. I took it outside to fire it and every second shot seems to drop after 20 feet or finds itself flying horribly left. On fully automatic the bb's seem to spray and drop after 20 feet. Can anyone help me?! Tried tinkering with the hopup with no results.

Tried that. Its kind of like the piston isn't cycling all the way back after every shot.

Check the hop up bucking itself, it's probably torn and needs replacing.

yeah, hopup is most likely torn, or barrel has shit in it, check rubber, and clean barrel.

First of all, what gun is it? Second, do you know it the hop up unit has ever been opened up/taken apart? Sounds definitely like a hop up unit issue, maybe be the rubber, but could also be the support that holds the inner barrel and unit together, if it's cracked (C clip found on M16/M4, and some other models) or has stripped screws (thinking the TM MP5), the inner barrel will move forward and introduce problems, not quite as you described, but it could be related.

Its a custom built m4, all parts inside are systema or modify systema.
