Hogue Grip for M4 AEG

Looking for a Hogue-style Grip for my M4 AEG;

I have found STAR and ARES manufacture them,

The only vendor I have found is Cobra Airsoft, but price is $27USD + 23USD shipping (a little rich for me).

Anyone know other manufactures or vendors?

The STAR ones feel like shit and the ARES one is made for gas guns and knowing ARES, probably feels like shit as well.

The reason why - and you'll understand when you hold a real Hogue grip - is Hogue grips are quite slim and simply don't work for AEGs due to the size of the motor.

Was able to get a OD Green Star grip on clearance ($6). Painted it black, and thought I would post some images;

Of the grips I have, the star grip is my favorite, followed by the magpul.

Agree with Stealth, had a RS one with a beaver tale on my GBBR/Daytona.

Was $40 ish shipped, however I guess you can't complain at something for $7, lol.

Won't the Hogue hand grip fit onto it?

I have a handall on it now, but it doesn't feel the same as the grip replacement. The 1 piece grip you install when taking off the side panels won't fit because of the different hammer spring anchor at the bottom of the grip... I dremeled out the material on the grip but it still didn't fit well enough so I gave up.

I tried a RS 1 piece Hogue grip on my TMP226, but didnt like how the rear seamed together.

Bought a RS hammer spring anchor and modified (see the end of this thread)

the kwa body at the grip actually seems to be a bit thicker than real steel... even tightly wrapped without the hammer spring block, the seam at the back of the grip is pretty apparent. The overall dimensions might be 1:1 on the ptp.. but the nitty gritty measurements aren't.
