Mosin Nagant woes
Hey everyone farily new here, I had recently bought a matrix arms mosin nagant redfire and I thought I had bout the snipper version but whilst rereading the ad it appears I bought the wrong version. This matters due to the bolt handle being curved on the sniper to prevent it from hitting the scope. Anyway my question is does anyone know if you can disassemble the bolt assembly in order to replace the bolt handle and if so where could I purchase the proper handle or is it a rare find? Thanks in advance.

Ok, so all of these Mosins with the weird trap door magazine are clones of each other (Redfire, Matrix, PPS, King Arms, etc.). They may even all be the same OEM, I'm not sure.
The good news is you can probably get a replacement bolt assembly/handle. What you need to do is get in contact with PPS airsoft directly. Here is the contact form: http://pps-airsoft.com/index.php?rou...mation/contact Find the part number/name from the manual and tell them that you want the curved/sniper version. They will send the part to Airsoft Depot, who I believe is their official distributor in Canada, and you can buy it directly from them. Word of warning: this can take a fair amount of time. I required a replacement part for my PPS Kar98K and I believe it was a few months after initial contact that Airsoft Depot actually received the part. |
