Wow, I finally got my first AEG (CA SAR Offizier M41)

I am so excited and I wanna share the pix with you guys.

Since it is not NIB, there are some scratches but it is still in good shape.

The G3 M41 comes w/ 8 Metal Low-Mag

I am 5'7" and I feel that this gun is a little tiny longer than what I should use. A MP5 might be better? Not sure, but I really really love this gun. I've also ordered the rail cover and foregrip (w/ bipod) for my baby.

Now what I need is the battery and charger. The seller told me this gun has 400 FPS and good quality internal which I have no idea how to tell since I am a newbie.

I have few questions;

1. Any recommend for what kinda battery I need to get if good quality internal w/ 400 FPS?

2. Should I get 2 battery or 1 should be good enough?

3. Any difference btw chargers? Smart charger is good enough?

4. Is a discharger a necessary?

Thanks ahead for your posts.

1. Any Intellect or Elite battery will do, an 8.4v 3600Mah battery will be good for a game. Find them at www.Cheapbatterypacks.com

2. As above, one is good; two just to be safe I guess.

3. Just get a smart chager, it's inexpensive and works good.

4. A discharger is meant for NiCad batteries, I suggested two brands that sell NiMH batteries.

I have an MP5 and I am also 5' 7" and I love it.

Also, you might want to ask the seller what was upgraded inside... He says the internals could be good stuff but just be careful. My buddy got a lemon not too long ago and he was told that all of the internals were upgraded, let's just say that gun won't be firing without a new mechbox.

Personally I prefer MP5's... So I bought an MP5! Haha, but this is still a nice gun with or without the mags.

BB Loader
Goggles

If you really want to, you can load the BBs by hand, just push them down through the feeding lip; not a very fun/fast way but it works(for the most part)

Hi Cassius,

I am sorry that I don't know the brand of the mags. Is there any way to check it out? I see no names or words when I took a look at the mags. But I'll ask the seller and see if he still remember the brand and I'll PM you if I got the answer.

i have a buddy who has one of these, he wanted the collapsable stock for it, after he broke the full stock mount (which is only attatched by a small flimsy piece of plastic), it worked very well, but he had to get a peq battery box for it on the front rails.

Good Idea to have a collapsalbe stock since I feel this G3 is a little bit longer for me as 5'7". And the battery box on the front rails always looks cool w/ flashlight on bottom of the rail.

Congrats, looks great.

If you're planning to play at local paintball fields, you'll probably need a paintball mask as opposed to tactical goggles. Check your fields to be sure, here in Vancouver, North Shore Paintball and Panther require paintball masks now.

BTW: Love the fur rug.

Thanks panda, I didn't know I need a mask to play in paintball field. Since I am still struggling if I should go for a goggle or mask (which is safer and less pain).

I have an out of topic question

Is is very painful if a sniper got your face? or the teeth will be broker if my teeth got hit?

wicked gun! congrats thats a good first

It depends on the distance but chances are it might chip a tooth even if its not a sniper.
