Oh yea and the top menu bar Fubar'd on the 800x600 computers I use from time to time.
the retailer ads are designed by the retailers. nothing you can do about that.

Would it be possible to delete your own sales threads? I've had some with the banana and please delete posts for weeks. Short of using the report a post feature, I know of no other way to inform the brass.

Maybe more mods specifically for the sale section?

BTW, there are quite a few sale threads in the sales archive with their final sale price deleted. Is there really a reason to keep them around?

Seeing as how i made two of the ads for this site i take that as a complete compliment. Things that blend well are not eye catching. Its why camo works. Conscripts ad speaks for itself it has a metric fuck load of hits.

when we went to the ad model I looked at a few other sites that have advertising. Most them were a lot more in your face and popped up, I tried to find a balance between in your face and muted (people are paying for the ads in the top and bottom corner. Google ads can be turned off by those that donate.

I'm not the most forum-savy person...where's the search/advanced search function now (I see the ASC and Google Custom Search "Go" buttons)?

I wanted to do a Classifieds section search to clean up my own stuff...but the advanced search is gone now...

****EDIT****
Meh...never mind...found the big "SEARCH THIS FORUM" tool on the right hand corner of the forum table...LOL.

Hopefully these new search boxes will lead to more newbs actually searching.

If you're looking for Advanced Search, it's under the Quick Links menu now.

I guess I meant like require a colour scheme or transparency. It's not like the retailers have anywhere else better to advertise in Canada a little restriction on it wouldn't hurt anybody. Just like in alot of towns you can't build a super modern Purple with lime green trimmed house.

If you noticed the ads that much then that means they are effective. If they ads are effective then that means more money for owner of that ad.

This is from the guy who tries to cause seizures with his avatar. maybe you should make it more transparent to work with ASC's colour scheme.

the ads are not obtrusive and are designed to cause minimal load times (they're actually cached). There's also branding for the retailers to differentiate them from other retailers and there's something to be said about giving the retailers their money's worth. Plus we don't want the advertising to confuse with the branding of ASC.

Also your black sig clashes with the nice eye pleasing color scheme of asc. You should blend it more

To address, since it hasn't been...

There's no difference. There are several different tag sets you can choose from; I made the "old" ones to match as closely as possible the original supporter tags, and that was the wording used (I don't know why).

If you use one of the other sets you'll see they're all labeled "Supporter":

There's 2 more sets coming... just been busy lately. And feeding my FO3 addiction in my spare time
