Wow, note to self.. Paintball mask next. Wow Barbie.. Ow, ow, ow.. Done that in Karate before. So. the worst I have seen is someone come to play in thin b-ball shorts and take one off the 'ouchie' head. Close range pistol shot, maybe 5 feet. Not shot, the worst I seen was my friend fall backwards down a 5 foot gully. Taught me to watch my step.

I understand that pain comes with the game, that's fine. But all the tooth injuries... I've spent too much money on my mouth to have a tooth broken by some bb.

Off to buy a proper face mask.

There was an accident here last month that a player got shot in the place up-close since it was a cqb battle and the bb penetrated the skin of his cheek. I guess it was bound to happen cause the idiotic owner of the game site set the maximum fps level to 450 on a CQB building. I hope nobody ever plays there anymore so as not to encourage other sites from doing the same. I play airsoft to have fun and not hurt other people, this has been growing issue in my country even in field games where guns at 550 fps in full auto are now being allowed to play.

so far I have gotten fairly lucky and the worst I have had happen it getting hit in the knuckle from about 5 feet away with a GBB during my first game ever. other than that the worst is probably pouring propane on my hand when filling a mag, but just about everyone does that at least once.

blown out (or blown in I guess is more accurate) front tooth...(and it was my favourite one too ). 4 dentist appointments down...2 more to go. The root canal was painless and I can barely notice the metal post in my tooth now...PROTECT YOURSELF GUYS! This was just a plain old shot, I had my mouth closed...hit my lip, pushed through a "plink"! broke the tooth clean in half.

I have a nice bit of scar tissue from a 350-ish contact shot. Turned a corner and the guy double tapped my bicep with his muzzle touching my arm. Didn't go sub-dermal, but it might have well have...the scar tissue looks like skin/scar healed over a bb. Fucking gross...I'm tempted to lop it off with an exacto knife and at least make it flush.

Poison Ivy...the whole team got it from the Harm's Way field. A week after playing there I was itching and scratching. My buddy called to say that he had gone to a doctor to figure out what his rash was and then called to find out if I had it. Then we called another buddy, and found out he had been off work (self quarantined) because his doctor said that it might have been ?skivies?...and he could risk infecting the rest of the precinct. After 6+ washes I was still getting a contact rash from my BDUs...ended up tossing them. A YEAR and many washes later, my buddy still got a flare up from his BDUs wearing them at the last game. If you crawl through poison ivy...toss your BDUs aftwards.

Knuckle, fingernail, bleeders...those pretty much happen every game.

About a month and a half ago i jumped into a ditch and sprained my knee. It's minor, only a bit of pain. As long as i take an anti inflammatory before hockey, i'm fine. Doc said it should be fine in the new year. OH, and i took a BB from a clearsoft shotty, above my upper lip, and it's a tiny scar now.

I wasn't aware a ricochet can still retain that much force. Or don't tell me you aimed right at the TV or the target was in the general direction of the TV and you missed...lol.

being covered in splinters and had to use a needle to pick them out one by one.

though compared to that, my wallet's had it WAY worse than I did, can't compare anyone's pain to my wallet when it comes to airsoft.

Poison ivy is oily. I presume you could hand wash it with dish soap and hot water. Since that thing is harder on oil than cloth soap, my guess is it would dissolve the oild better.

Just don't pour it in the washing machine, or you will be cleaning a room full of foam!

Good thing I'm immune to poison Ivy, or all my stuff would be ruined.

Claybank 09. Went up a hill, dived for cover on top some shrub style cactus. Was pulling those spines out for weeks.

1. Got shot in the chin and the BB got stuck up under the skin...had to pry it out and it must have taken 3 months for the wound to heal completely
2. Running for cover in a hale of BBs into a bunker and did not duck enough....scalped myself...18 stitches
3. Had a shale ledge I was standing on break off...fell about 6 feet onto another piece of moss covered shale....slashed my elbow open for another 6 stitches.

The hazards of playing in rugged woodland terrain with hi FPS outdoor guns...

Went to clear a log by standing on it. I slipped off, fell flat on my stomach. I have 6 M14 mags there. Falling from a height of 1m. Ya, it felt like a truck plowed into me; couldn't breath properly for a bit. That and i honestly thought i was going to throw up for a bit too. I didn't, thank god, cause that would have really made my PB mask dirty. I broke my M14 in half though. That wasn't fun at all. Ask anyone there who saw it, and they can attest to the damage of that fall.

Ran away from Terminator and fell into a ditch and got a broken lower on the gun, and a bruised and scraped knee. LOL
