Stan, what weight BBs did you use in that video? I'm guessing ordinary .20s or something? Because you're getting mad dispersion right at the muzzle, which invariably will hinder range; do you have access to some heavier BBs (.28 or above)? I think that could help achieve longer ranges.

A mix of .20 and some crossman glow in the dark (weight unknown).

since the pellets are stacked in 3's in 4 micro barrels i'm not sure if you can fix accuracy without reducing them to 1 per micro barrel. In theory that should also give better fps if you are able to hold each round at the back of the micro barrel.

I'm curious to see how the MB shells fare.

Im curious about extending the barrel a few inches with an airsoft barrel. I think that might help quite a bit without making it much larger.

Either way, I definitely want one of these!

The Mad Bull's shoots 6 bb's at a time, it is quite violent on CO2, they've been clocked at 480 fps with a .20g.

I have them in-stock again

holy cow that's allot of FPS for no barrel to accelerate the projectile!

I wonder if its the same absolute volume of propellant as the Goblin shells, only concentrated to half the shot load making it more powerful.

Wouldn't be hard to adapt a nerf rocket to that, but having a tank killer that can fit in your molle pouch would be somewhat unrealistic lol.

though for a hand-shotgun it is quite powerful

According to the guys at goblin a Double barrel version should be available soon, I really cant wait to see that! I love mad max and the evil dead series.

Also note that madbull made there sheels for the tanaka m870 so Airsoft Surgeon Shells from redwolf should work in this luancher as well

That shells from redwolf cost too much to shot and it's plastic. I prefer Madbull shells, we can have them from Local almost same as the price from the state.

Well guys, Goblin`s blog has made it official. the double barrel version is coming.

``We are getting very close to the final design for our new double barrel kit for the GOBLIN SOLO. It is going to be a mad max style double barrel with the ability to add a top rail for accessories or to mount it under your primary, a-la grenade launcher style. The grip extension will also give you more to grip. Funny how that works. We are going to get our barrel sizer kits in soon so you won't have to mess around with shims to get a tight fit on the paintballs``

If im correct, William Defoe could be seen using the prototype mounted on an crossbow to slay those pesky twilight vampires in the 2009 movie ``Daybreakers``

Cant wait to see it!

Yeah.
everyone will know for sure when i get mine.

edit- yes the goblin solo does work with tanaka shot shells. caution when using them though, I notice the o-ring the holds the bbs in place nearly shot out on one of mine - using propane. duster looks to not have that problem, but i've only tested it twice; one propane and one duster shot.

I'm really interested to see what Goblin comes up with for a double barrel... when I originaly looked at doing my double barrel with the Solo's I was thinking of making a kit to just slide a pair of them in....

I ended up just mutilating a pair and melding them together, and then making my own barrels and stock peices .. etc ... haven't gotten ahold of the MB shells to take it out to a game though.

Goblin have finally post a picture of what will be the Double Barrel Goblin Launcher or the Goblin Deuce like they call it.
Really look like a sawed off double barrel shotgun, pretty nice
