They seem to have more receiver options and more internal part mfgs... But all the RS aftermarket parts work on the WE... Why even compare replica accessories?

Finding an AV rep is pretty easy, and the most it should take is a 2 minute meet at a Timmies etc to verify your age. There is a good reason the community is self-regulating, and the sheer amount and variety available to you once you get AV status is well worth the small inconvenience.

If so then you would be able to understand the need for this AV system being set in place. Plus it's not like AV reps are rare, hell there's a few retailers who are AV reps as well including Jeff Baker (Baker_Jeff) and Ken Cheung (KenC).

Things have changed a lot in the last few years and will most likely continue to change as airsoft evolves in Canada.
As for a GBBR suggestion I recommend that you poke around for some reviews on the Wetti AWSS M4s or the G&P WOC M4s. Both seem to be very popular at this time.

Also I hear its not very good in cold, how about when using HPA? I know gbbr's are known to be heavy with mags, but they can't be any heavier then an 20oz co2 tank and 8 paintball pods can possibly be.(just played one long ass match today). |

GBBRs do not use HPA, that's a paintball thing. The gas is stored in the mags, and there is no way to use external gas....yet.

For my M203 I've used and tested Duster Gas, HPA, Propane & Co2. All work fine. Co2 is the best bang though. The top half screws right into an HPA or CO2 tank. |

Anyways, you CANNOT EVER use HPA with the current GBBR's because the mag's are whats restricting it (someone explained one time that the mags pressure chambers or w/e would the the prohibitive part in both cost and ability to store the high pressure air since it would be unsafe or something). If you ever do want to go HPA, you'll have to go the "classic airsoft" route and have an external rig + line. I'm personally thinking of getting one myself but that's for later. For now though propane can actually reach pretty high velocities (over the field limit in some cases), the only problem being that you get the dreaded cooldown effect if firing rapidly.

simply put, it is a pressure and volume issue. I've explained it before on these forums. Nades are different since they are designed to use CO2 (depending on which one) |

DO NOT CIRCUMVENT THE AV SYSTEM BY ATTACHING A PIC OF AN AV TAG IN YOUR AVATAR.
You WILL get banned.

On this issue I'm steering towards l473ncy for the following reasons having a extensive PB back ground in HPA or CO2 ,that being said every thing has to do with flow and valving. Take for instance the Daytona works on HPA the valve in bolt regulates the speed of the BB and the rearward action of said bolt putting it back into battery,it's up to the sear to do the rest. Just bought A WE Scar this weekend and the trigger group was screwed fixed it thank to Tys sage advise, and yes we have to do some real steel some time.. But better than that I loved the felt recoil almost the same with light loads lol!!!

Joke or not. You better keep your nose clean. If you don't like how the forum has "changed" feel free to leave nobody is making you stay but while you are here you will abide by forum rules.
