Levis 501s, ERDL top... humm.... Good...Good.

Thing has been up on G&P's website for like a year and a half, so any progress is good progress.

On a side note, was reading an article about SEALs in Vietnam and usually the patrol commander would not allow the Stoner 63 gunner to shoot unless SHTF because every NLF/VC would know instantly that they were facing SEALs and not just reg grunts. It had a very particular sound when firing and since every SEAL in Vietnam had a bounty on his head, it was more prudent to hold off firing. This also leads me to believe that SEALs would use Type 56's more often then other SF units, since it would mask identification by sound.

Well the G&P box finally died after less than 1 mag worth of test shooting, upon a complete breakdown it is the same issue with all G&P box, the shaft on the gear snapped.

I will be swapping the box with a King arms V2 box soon, overall the AEG is great with the exception of a small mechbox issue

So has anyone done a canadian review on this? I was wondering what the internals are like? Also what is the barrel like, is it threaded outter barrel? I wonder if you could mount a carbine style stock? I have so so many questions.

Internals are your typical G&P 8mm gear box mine failed after one mag and it's the usual gear shaft, right now it has a set of modify steel gears and it's shooting like a dream. Future upgrades will be a Madbull tightbore barrel, Polar star fusion engine box. For the stock I have the newer version, which meant that the weaker stock issue of the first run no longer exist as for carbine stock/crane stock a G&P collapsible short stock may fit but that's like fucking up a classic gun. the stoner should stay as it is, thats why I haven't butchered it yet by adding a grenade launcher to it like all my AEGs

I thought the Knights ChainSAW was a concept gun and never actually used.... well ever.

Also, I've never understood how is it that G&P can make such great externals but their gears just take a shit after a few uses.

Your right, it's just a design exercise to try and find new ways to do things. Their's an interesting video about it:
