I'll chime in quickly. I bought the wood and alum. version about a week ago.

Quick points;

- Loud as hell. At least twice as loud as my WE OB M4.
- Kicks HARD. My buddy has the WE M14 and we used that as comparison, the SVD definitely kicks harder. (Didn't chrony either so the SVD might be shooting a lot hotter)
- I only have about 35 feet to play around with, but it will hit a pop can shot for shot at that distance...I know that's not saying much but it's better than my stock M4.
- Wood kit is so so. Not great but not bad. Not sure if it was worth it price wise over the polymer version. Fits well though, little play.
- Mag efficiency is good, 2-3 full mags worth per fill on propane.
- First WE gun that came with actual lube similar to Super Lube.
- Wear and tear inside is about average, paint rubbing etc. but so far so good.
- Hop up is easily accessible and tool free!!!
- LIGHT! Don't have a scale but probably around the weight of a stock M4.

Bad points

- Not sure if it's just my rifle but the safety DOES NOT WORK. You can still fire with the safety on. Can also cock and chamber a round. Found this out when a buddy said the trigger felt stiffer and noticed he'd left the safety on. There isn't much difference in trigger pull between off and on and he didn't even notice.
- Paint chips very very easily. The barrel assembly etc. is fine but the receiver and cover can be scratched with little effort.
- Inner workings look roughly cut, I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if this will affect anything down the road but they definitely look rougher than the WE M4 internals.
- ACM SVD styled scope needed a ton of filing to fit on the mount. (I'm hoping a real Kalinka Optics on will fit with zero issues)
- Bolt looks like it's made of white metal...

Pretty cool rifle, time will tell on what needs to be replaced.
