Version 3 eh. Thats sweet. Think that might make this a better choice over the MP5.

Wait what kind of battery can this thing fit.

OH...been waiting a while for this... it should be around $600 CAN here...reasoning for this, the GR-16 is $312 US at WGC and retails for around 650 here, and the UMP is apprx US $280 so I think it is fair to assume that a 600 dollar price is fair...

Anyway I plan on ordering one uppon release.

As much as I want this, next up for me is a used M16 rifle. I already have the MP5 for CQB.

Kinda silly thing to say. Like saying the m16 is a mp5 with different trim. Shares the mechbox but I really don't know how its a G36 w different trim. lol

Anyhow I like the gun. Never cared much for Mp5's and so many people have them would be nice to have something different like the UMP.

My only concern is the small battery

Well, unfortunatly... remember what happened with the G36c... everyone got one... so the UMP will go very popular, and everyone will have one.

I was referring to the internals, not the looks. It's a very similar platform to the Marui G36, which is a real plus. Although they've changed a few things, I hope the underlying concept of the TM G36 is still there, because it's an excellent design.
