Firstly, you don't KNOW it's Z87.1+, there's no documentation, and no company to stand behind them, there's no proof they're safety rated
Secondly, the Chinese are not above putting labels on things to make them sell. Like the CSA and IEC tags. If anyone's seen the princess auto gas welder goggles, you'll see they say Z87.1 and S5 (shade) on them. Well they have a pair with clear lenses too, which also say S5 because they used the same mold.
And third, if they DO break, you're fucked. There's nobody to pass blame to.
This is EXACTLY the reason why I'm spending $200 on a pair of ESS' within a week. I've had luck with my china-clones, but seriously... $200 now, or a lifetime of being blind. I'll take the hole in my pocket over the hole in my skull.

i dont like mesh at all. i really dont like that finches field allows it. mostly because the last 2 years ive been buying bios as almost every field wants bios only now. but nooooo, i gotta buy a bag of regular bbs to use at one field simply because they want to allow something that the entire community is usually against. (mesh eye pro) boogles my mind.

200? You can get profiles for 40 from Army Issue. Unless you want the ventilated ones, but they're supposed to be loud as hell.

You can order direct from Revision Military. I had my Rx inserts in a week. Desert Locust goggles are under $100.

This looks like quality face protection, might produce fogging issues though when combined with goggles:

Love the mesh, works great day or night. Have had mine for over 3 years now and still got both my eyes.

Indeed, I did get the power fan. I love it, and it's not noisy at all. I do not have fogging at all. But these goggles are rated for minor explosions and shotgun blasts. Not just BBs.

In an "oh shit" situation, I have complete confidence in my goggles. I'm not saying that everyone needs to spend that much, but like I said, my eyes are worth a lot to me.
