Real sordins are only $180.
An adapter to TP120 is $40.
Or a trip to SRS is about $100.

Oh right I forgot we did talk about this earlier. In any case yeah they have served me pretty well so far, if you'd like to take a closer look next time just let me know.

So do the Sordin Supreme Pro's
You can get them on Ebay with Revision Desert locusts for $180. Sell the eye pro and you have a pretty cheap RS headset.

One of the reasons I went with the liberators is because they have two mics so you get stereo sound, with an option to amplify their sensetivity. It's quite neat, you hear every rustle, but the system won't allow any normally loud sound (yelling) to over-amplify.

Those units also:
-relay in communications from whatever radio you plug in
-transmit via the boom mic (none of that sleepy-dove stuff where you tuck your face into your shoulder)
-provide hearing protection (not a big deal for airsoft, but real steel its a necessity as far as I'm concerned)

This two mic system just made up my mind. I'm picking up the over ear set. I will likely need a system to work with my tactical helmet.

Thanks for all of the great feedback everyone. Great community!

Not sure why you think its a crap one. Mine works great. My outgoing is clear even when talking in a loud whisper and incoming is clear so long as the person transmiting is speaking clear and or using a decent radio/mic.
Compared to the throat mic i had befor its night and day tho i was runing a crappy motorola bubble pac radio so that likely didnt help with the sound quality. (one plug for mic and headset, cheap radio, cheap throat mic. VS seperate plug for mic and headset puxing 888 and a decent throat mic)
The only thing i dont like about this throat mic is that the pic ups on the mic are behind hard plastic not foam like my old one so ya gotta whisper a lil loud for it to pic up sound my old one you could really whisper and it would pic it up.

Note I do worry about the earbud wires getting snagged on branches and other shit in a forest environment, haven't tested them in that type of place yet.
Myself and two of my teammates are using Nacre Quietpro as well. the wires holds up in woodland pretty well, they are designed to be pull-proofed. being using it in shallow lake 2 and 3, nothing to complain at all. however, i'd say Nacre Quietpro would not be the perfect choice for new players, you have to buy Motorola mts/xts series radio for the headset, plus the headset itself which would cost some decent amount of money.
