Nice work Jugglez! Now if only CanadaPost would show up tomorrow with my slide and barrel kit you sent me..... then I could post pics of almost the same upgrades but in black :P
Did you not also get in houge replacement grips like the ones I ordered through you back in August? Or did you opt out of the modifications required and go with the slip on option instead? |

I thought there was an issue or 2 with installing the hogue full-handle replacement grips anyway... check the original 226 threads.

An update, I stripped her down again and put the stock hammer spring back in... the problems are now solved!!!! YEAH!!! Shoots nice... seems the Guarder hammer spring is too stiff, and i wasn't about to wait for it to soften up. Perhaps the Proud hammer spring would be a better solution? The stock spring performs well though so i think i'll stick with it for now. btw, i've uploaded a video of it in action... check the first post. :tup: |
